Hillary Wants to Censor Free Speech

February 11, 2016

Hillary Clinton was absolutely clobbered in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary by the Bolshevik-baton wielding Bernie Sanders. Hillary then graced New Hampshire with her farewell address, where she adopted every single Sanders policy as her own. The one issue that she brought up however – which really shines light on the contrast between her moral character and Bernie Sanders’ – was that of campaign finance reform.

Clinton brought up the fact that the supreme course case of Citizens United vs. FEC had originally started when a right-wing organization – Citizens United, created a movie about her. This part was true.

…let’s remember, Citizens United, one of the worst Supreme Court decisions in our country’s history, was actually a case about a right-wing attack on me and my campaign. A right-wing organization took aim at me and ended up damaging our entire democracy.

So, yes, you’re not going to find anybody more committed to aggressive campaign finance reform than me.

This is insane. Hillary Clinton is actually saying that because a private company was allowed to make a movie about her, the nation’s democracy was destroyed.

The argument that she’s somehow concerned about corporations donating large sums of money to political campaigns is indefensible. Heck, she and her party have been the greatest beneficiaries of that ruling by a wide margin. What Hillary wants is the power to crack down on these “right wing attacks” against her via government force. She is literally arguing against the First Amendment and for the suppression of free speech.

It’s no secret that Hillary doesn’t take criticism lightly. She refers to the undergoing FBI investigation into her use of a private email server as a “vast right-wing conspiracy,” she maintains that attacks on her and her policies are a result of sexism amongst Americans and she stands behind radical feminist, Madeline Albright, cheering, as she suggests that women who don’t throw themselves behind Hillary, are reserved special suites at the Holiday Inn in Hell.

In contrast, Bernie Sanders’ position on Citizens United aligns perfectly with his ideology. He doesn’t understand that corporations are just people with a common idea who band together for the purpose of putting that idea into fruition. Sanders sees corporations as some evil entity responsible for the ills of America. Government, on the other hand, to Sanders, is free of corruption, and the only solution to the problems facing America.

Is he right? No, but he’s honest.

Hillary sees this as another opportunity to brush off every attack sent her way as either some “right wing conspiracy” or just the result of a “broken political processes,” She of course is exonerated from all wrongdoing.
